Requirements: DiversityFIRST™ is open to undergraduate and graduate full-time students of all academic backgrounds, but it is geared towards students who are seeking employment in corporate environment. In order to become a member of DiversityFIRST™, the student must be in good standing with the university.

Officers
Requirements: In order to hold an officer position, the member must have a GPA 3.0.  We encourage all members to participate in the leadership positions to further develop their skills, as well as, contribute to the organization.

• Events Chair: Responsible for planning and executing various events that are hosted by DiversityFIRST™
• Recruiting Chair: Responsible for recruiting students to join and participate in DiversityFIRST™
• Partnership Chair: Responsible for recruiting corporations and professional organizations in the area to be a sponsor and support the local student group
• Internship Chair: Responsible for seeking out internships available in the community that are opportunities for the members to apply; maintain communication with professional organizations about future internship opportunities

Requirements: DiversityFIRST Network Young Professional chapter is open to young professionals of various career backgrounds that exude strong communication skills and have a passion for diversity. The professional must fill out an application and pay the annual dues of $30.

Committee Chairs
Requirements: In order to hold a chair position, the member must demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills. They must also have a passion for the celebration of diversity and passion for educating the youth in their community.

Chairs

• Events Chair: Responsible for planning and executing various events that are hosted by DiversityFIRST™ Network
• Fundraising Chair: Responsible for planning and implementing fundraising events that will financially support the chapter; collaborate with the events chair when required
• Public Relations Chair: Responsible for making sure that all the planned events are marketed well to the members of the DiversityFIRST™ Network, as well as, the community; Responsible for creating a visual history of the organization from year to year, planning creative ways to improve the visibility among the students of the university, and promoting a positive image of the organization
• Recruiting Chair: Responsible for recruiting students to join and participate in DiversityFIRST™ Network
• Community Service Chair: Responsible for organizing community service events that allow the young professionals to give back locally through volunteer efforts
